According to the Politico, the McCain campaign has dropped their attack ads and have now devoted their entire 83 million dollars on buying clothes for Sarah Palin.
Well, not quite.
But the McCain campaign has shelled out $150,000 in "accessory" payments, primarily to buy clothes, make-up, and the like for Sarah Palin.
That's a lot of fashion for a woman who's "just folks."
Update: It appears that the evil Matthew Yglesias has scooped me yet again.

Questions about Sarah Palin's wardrobe are as legitimate as questions about John Edwards' haircut. These are exactly the types of issues that should not matter to voters. Of course she is spending a lot on her appearance. Society demands that of her and will accept her expenditures as normal. However, John Edwards was excoriated by every media outlet because he, as a man, is not permitted to spend so much on his appearance. Complete double-standard.
If her $150,000 wardrobe were a person, it would qualify for an Obama tax cut!
The RNC should appreciate that at least...
