All Texas needs to do now is to decide what to do about the polygamy--which I believe is against the law.In a crushing blow to the state's massive seizure of children from a polygamist sect's ranch, the Texas Supreme Court ruled Thursday that child welfare officials overstepped their authority and the children should go back to their parents.
The high court affirmed a decision by an appellate court last week, saying Child Protective Services failed to show an immediate danger to the more than 400 children swept up from the Yearning For Zion Ranch nearly two months ago.

Anyone catch the comment from Willie Jessop, FLDS member, said right afterwards and, I quote:
"There has been a catastrophic emotional and physical trauma to these families, permanent damage that will be left on them for a lifetime. Two wrongs do not make a right, and the court has the ability to load these children up and return them."
Two wrongs don't make a right? If that wasn't an admission that CPS was RIGHT in taking the kids, or that CPS was right about the sexual abuse, then I don't know what that was.
All Texas needs to do now is to decide what to do about the polygamy--which I believe is against the law.
But having children with multiple women isn't.
As long as they insist that the men aren't actually married to all these women (and there's undoubtedly no paper trail), it's going to be very difficult to prove polygamy.
