A Pause in Barackomentum

CNN has an interesting tidbit on late-deciding voters:
According to the exit polls, Obama and Clinton are essentially splitting those voters, with 47 percent going for Obama and 46 percent for Clinton.

That one percent differential is not what the Obama camp wanted. It looks like Barackomentum has slowed down somewhat.

I still think a lot of people are 51-49 in their own minds. But Hillary's getting her share of that group.

Obama has won States in the South that are traditionally difficult for Dems to win. By beating Clinton in those states, I believe Obama has demonstrated that he is the more Nationally electable candidate, as he will surely carry the normally Dem states in a National election. This is also bad news for Reps, as Obama has a better chance of drawing Southern states away from McCain.

The problem is the Obama rama crowed is made up of young people who think they are rooting for their college football team. This is the real deal, selecting presidential candadate should not be about Hey I like this guy he makes me feel good like my team when they win.
