Not That Much More Patience

I'm supporting Hillary Clinton because I think she'd make a much better president than Barack Obama or any of the Republicans. But Bill Clinton's comparison of Obama's campaign to Jesse Jackson's losing campaigns is trying my patience. Sure, Bill was frustrated and sure the reporter was relaying an example of how Obama baited him. But those excuses don't wash. Strongly implying that Obama was "just a black candidate" was factually wrong, morally wrong, and totally inappropriate. If Bill's going to be that stupid, then Hillary would be smart to start sending him out to the hinterlands of Democratic constituencies. Maybe she could have him give pep talks to "Investment Bankers for Hillary" or groups like that. Otherwise, she'll lose a lot of her support.

You should write a sternly-worded letter to Bill telling him exactly what you, Ric Caric, think.

I'm sure he'll take to heart what a no-name professor at a podunk college has to say.

Dr. Caric is sharing his thoughts and ideas, why can't you do the same? Do you have any relevant thoughts to share? If he was a "no-name professor" we wouldn't be leaving these comments.

You must be a student of said no-name professor. My sympathies.

Of course, you are reading my blog.

I would say that Hillary is far better qualified than Obama simply she knows the ropes of governmemt. One term senators like Obama need more time absorbing the knowledge and experiance especialy policy matters that are needed to be leaders. I will probably vote for the canidate with the most experience.

Of course, I've had the well-mentioned professor twice. He didn't warp my mind too bad :) I was an agnostic, liberal, feminist-environmentalist,antiwar peacenik-prochoicer,gay supporting kind of guy pre-Caric and post-Caric. And here I stand for all the world to see.

I'm guessing that since you read his blog on a regular basis that you are a student of his too. I'm sure his writing has sparked thought in you. Perhaps you envy him on some subconscious level.

And thanks for your campaign efforts to trash Caric...that's probably been a boon for his readership! It is kind of like the church condemning a book....what happens? People read it.

Wrong on all counts, SB. I don't envy irrelevance and mental masturbation.

As for Caric's "writing" and "insights," they are both too tortured, convoluted and unoriginal to spark anything in me but a gigantic yawn.

But it's very interesting that my blog seems so relevant to you.
