Of course, there's a sense in which that is true. The Iraq War is in the incompetent hands of the Bush administration. But, Giuliani is using the Bush administration just like Paris Hilton used her publicist--as a crutch to absolve himself of responsibility for evaluating the military progress of the surge, commenting on the insurgency, or analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of the Maliki government. In fact, Giuliani seems to see the Bush administration as an excuse for not thinking about the war. Sort of like Paris didn't want to think about her suspended license.
Maybe Giuliani should think about putting out his own line of perfume the next time he dresses up in drag.

Good stuff here, Ric, on Giuliani. Maybe the reason he seems to duck talking about what he would do about Iraq is because he doesn't KNOW what he would do about Iraq. He sticks to the terrorism issue which has been a winner for him, given his limited experience, eh? Btw, are you posting on the "New Fray" at all? Have not seen your nick on there is a while.
