Hillary Doing Well in Kentucky

A recent Survey USA poll has Hillary ahead of Giuliani by 4 in Kentucky. That sounds about right. Kentucky Republicans are in the dumps as a result of Republican governor Ernie Fletcher's big re-election loss and the generally low opinion of George Bush. Giuliani also rubs religious conservatives the wrong way as a result of his pro-choice views.

As a result, Hillary looks pretty good.

I forgot to comment on this, but a recent poll published in the Indianapolis Star shows that the reddest of all states favors a Dem candidate with Evan Bayh on the ballot. With Bayh the Democrat (any of them, but one supposes less so for Hillary) leads the generic Republican 44 to 37.

When you are losing Indiana by 7 pts, you are in serious trouble.
