Why does Georgia wan...What puzzles me is the "why." Why does Georgia want this territory? It can't be about oil. If it were, we'd have been there some time ago. At the very least we would sell the South Ossetian government weapons and perhaps some Blackwater mercenaries. So, the issue is discussed and discected by pundits and elected officals but nothing will be done regarding a cease fire and a negotiated peace between Georgia and South Ossetia because neither country have anything to offer. We only seem to care about human rights and sovereingty when those values fit the economic agenda of big oil. Have no fear, Bush will posture till his term expires but that's all he'll do. Georgia and South Ossetia are on there own. When one considers the situation in Iraq one must it pays to think as the Georgin government hirearchy thinks as well as how the leaders of South Ossetia think. They watch CNN too. They see the results of U.S. "help", under the Bush administration. I'd pass on that myself.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
